Dr Dodoo Bashir SOLOMON

FEEUK Board Member

Dr Dodoo Bashir Solomon started his education at a local authority school - Holy Trinity Primary School, Kano before proceeding to St Thomas’ Secondary School, Kano. He obtained his first degree from the University of Maiduguri and PhD from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow in 1989. Over the last four decades, Dodoo has had a varied career in academia at Kings College, London UK, charity organisation for rural empowerment in Nigeria, and across multiple business industry sectors (Manufacturing and services) in the UK.  Whilst in academia, the output of his research works have been commercialised.

Dodoo is a Trustee of Serendipity Healthcare Foundation, Kano, a founding member of The African Forum, UK and a board member of FEEUK and its sister organisation FEEiN in Nigeria. Dodoo’s interest is in creating the right environment for African heritage children to channel their inquisitive minds and energies to be the best in their endeavours.
